First, for this model is to CHOOSE A LANGUAGE for the transcript.

Second, you have two action options: RECORD -or- UPLOAD

RECORD will use your device's mic to make a recording. Transcript is generated after you have clicked STOP.

UPLOAD allows you to select a pre-recorded file from your device. Limit of audio file is 30 seconds. Transcript is generated after the file is uploaded and processed.

“RTF” - shows the Real Time Factor, this is the common metric of measuring speed when audio signal is processed. If, for example, it takes 8 hours of computation time to process a recording of duration 2 hours, the real time factor is 4. When the real time factor is 1, the processing is done "in real time". State of the art speech-to-text cloud-based services supplied by Google, Azure, AWS, etc. has values between 0.2 and 0.6. Note that is all very depending on many factors, the network/internet bandwith, the speech content, etc.
